Minihouse Hurdal

Hurdal Ecovillage asked Bergen School of Architecture to create a space with an undefined function, that could work in different ways. Five students (Luca Negrini, Marte Nødtvedt Skjæggestad, Goda Lukšaitė, Meng Nan Zhang, Inga Hegdahl Eggen, Matilda Wallsten) built this house in less than a month. The circulation system is the key element to the house. It allows a smart and efficient use of the five square meters per floor. The tower is perfect for a wild experience in the nature, in relation to Norwegian cabin traditions.

The project was also exhibited in 2016’s Venice Biennale of Architecture in the Nordic pavilion as one of the 200 best Scandinavian projects.
